PRINCE2 OVERVIEW
PRINCE2 is recognised as a world-class international product and is a standard method for project management. It embodies many years of good practice in project management and provides a flexible and adaptable approach to suit all projects. It is a project management method designed to provide a framework covering the wide variety of disciplines and activities required within a project.
Many organisation are employing the skills and services of external suppliers, working alongside in-house resources, to enhance their ability to deliver successful projects. PRINCE2 provides a mechanism to harness these resources and enable the team to integrate and work together effectively on a project.
PRINCE2 was launched in 1996 and is suitable for all types and sizes of project. PRINCE2 training is now delivered in approximately 60 countries and the manuals are now published in 80 languages.
PRINCE2 is administered worldwide by the APM Group based in the UK with offices in Canberra
Project Laneways has been certified by the APM Group as an accredited training company.
Our Training Delivery
All courses are presented by an experienced and certified trainer and facilitator. The trainer will explain PRINCE2 using a combination of:
- Slides
- Discussion
- Practical and relevant exercises
- Real projects brought to the classroom by the course participants
Public and Private Courses
Project Laneways hold public Foundation and Practitioner courses every month except December. Public courses in Auckland and Wellington are held in the central business district. Courses will be scheduled in the regions based on demand. We are also able to arrange in house private courses for organisations who are looking for flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to explore options outside the normal Foundation/Practitioner course structure.
Project Laneways Exam Guarantee
Our trainers are very experienced as both trainers and project managers. You are almost certain to pass the exam on the first attempt. In the unlikely event that are unsuccessful on the first attempt we will cover the exam fees for a second try. However, this must be taken within 3 months of the first attempt.
